I am tired of wearing readers (+1.75) and taking them off for distance. My distance vision is +0.5.


I was thinking of trying progressive lens via Costco. Any reasons I should NOT try costco?

Hi, can you help which to pick?
I recently realized that I can't read on my phone without fully extending my hand. This has happened relatively short period of time.
Went to an eye exam and got 1.5 on both; I've ordered double lens glasses, 0.75 main (for "computer monitor"), and 1.5 at the bottom for reading. I find it uncomfortable to always look through the bottom, so I want to order a full 1.5 for reading.
I've asked Chatgpt, but it gives me confusing answers. IDK anything about the terminology; which one should I get with this deal, or should I get the cheap ones selling everywhere?

I doubt Costco can touch the price of Zenni. All the "fitting" the optician does after you get the glasses is kabuki theater in my opinion. I can usually buy three glasses, at least, for the price of one when shopping locally.

The pair of progressives I got from Costco was less than half what other chain optical stores quoted me. However, they were several times more than what Zenni was.
