Decent budget cpu that has some issues that may not affect everyone, but

- You NEED a graphics card. (No igpu.)

- Limited to PCIE Gen 3.0 for graphics card and nvme. Doesn't matter what you buy.

Yeah. This is pretty literally a 5600g without the onboard graphics so it has all the same limitations of a 5600g, PCI-E 3 and less cache. Not bad as a cheap drop in upgrade for a first or second gen Ryzen system. The PCI-E 3 limitations probably won't matter because an older MB won't support PCI-E 4 anyway.

Not sure I'd be building a new system around this CPU at this point. A 5600g/gt would make more sense if you don't need a discrete video card and if you are building a gaming system with a discrete GPU a 5600 or even 5700x 3D cpu type CPU or even AM5 would be a better deal.

Faster than any Ryzen 1000 or 2000 CPU. If you're still running one of those, you should give this a go. Make sure to run Curve Optimizer and PBO with Ryzen Master
