I feel like this should be $50 or so. This is pretty old, I think 2020? It's a great product and you can make a very high quality gaming computer with this (b550 & 5800x3d works terrific, I'd probably add a 7900xtx or something like that... if you're going high bang for the buck I wouldn't do nvidia. I have a 4080S and the raytracing coolness wore off super quick)

I prefer MSI mobos. They are more dedicated in terms of mobos. GByte are halfassed in there software!

I have never had an issue with a gigabyte. It's my go-to. My mom is still running my old GA-F2A85X-UP4, from like 2012-2013-ish
I had to recently swap out an MSI board because I got the LED code for no GPU installed despite the GPU being good. I checked ram, and CPU, and even cleared CMOS several times, no dice. Apparently a common issue. I suspect a component failed, just not visibly so.
