It's confusing, it does say 'left handed only' but the picture illustrates a right hand retrieve. Maybe I'll take a shot that the description is accurate and the photo is not?

Based on the reviews this reel is regularly $50 not $120. Meme MSRP price
Not quite true… While this setup has been on sale for this price in the past; it A : is discontinued, to make way for the newer version of this setup. B :the reel alone sells for $60, which is essentially an Abu Garcia Silver Max reel with a Jordan Lee paint job. Throw in a 7ft rod, and it's definitely a good deal.

Based on description and customer photos, it looks to be left handed.

Why would the picture be relevant in this situation....

Historically, "right handed" spinning reels have always been left hand retrieve, the "right handedness" was referring to your casting hand. So when you see a bait caster advertised as "left handed" or "right handed" are they referring to casting hand or retrieval hand. Hence the confusion, and possible contradiction between the photo and description.

Are they typically not swappable? Can put the retrieve on either side?
