Amazon is perhaps the sketchiest place to get memory cards that isn't a flea market. It is awash in fakes, even when "Sold by Amazon."
Ken is right, though, that this is not an especially fast card. If you want content to upload and download quickly, or will be shooting 4K video or something, this is not the best card for you. For photography and many other use cases, though, it very well could be perfectly fine. It's not a flagship product line for SanDisc, either, but the cost cutting Walmart version.

how many have you personally received that are fake?
They are legit and have them in store too, it in store price is higher.
yes I picked 2 up on Friday and put substitution just in case its not legit. They emailed and said store pickup is ready and I picked them up and they are legit

I don't think it matters what his personal experience is with amazon as that would only be one sample size of many people. The way distribution works in amazon warehouses, Amazon has their own stock of memory cards directly received from the manufacturing company (Samsung, Sandisk, etc.). They have the legit stock. The problem is third party company seller/stores having their own stock which has their own mix of legit cards and fake/counterfeit made somewhere else in Asia and can't be verified until packaging is opened and tested. Amazon stocks third party seller in order to expedite and handle shipping logistics. Here is where the problem happens- the items are mixed in the warehouse. and ordering from Amazon- even if it says "ships and sold by amazon" isn't safe and you may still end up with a fake card which happens to a lot of people if you read the reviews on memory cards. You could just complain with amazon customer service and they'll send you a new card but it's inconvenient to wait a few days for another card.

Speeds are mediocre with the possibility of early failure. Samsung is best.
From my experience, SanDisks fail a hell of a lot less. 2 one year old samsung Evo Microsd cards failed.
I had one SanDisk failed before.
Warranty (a long time for sandisk) is destroy the card (cut it in half and dispose of it), we will send you a new one.
Samsung asked me to send in both Microsd cards, they would replace both.
The Sandisk was great, personal info in trash and shredded.
The Samsung was not great, personal info in their hands. Cards both were in a locked stated, some files corrupted, but most were intact.
I kept my Samsungs, destroyed it and lost $120 ($60 each card, 512gb a little less than 2 yrs ago)

Can't say that I have exp any fakes from so many Amazon purchases, but they could buy the Amazon exclusive Samsung EVO Select if they are worried about fakes.
Wait, they sell fake brand-name SD cards? I just bought an SD card from Walmart.com. That's not encouraging.
I saw the 128g version of this one on Walmart.com for $10, but it didn't have class 10 anywhere in the listing. Eufy recommends class 10 for their chimes.

I'ved had at least 2 PNY, 2 Kingston, and 7-8 SanDisk that have failed in the last 10 years. I bought a 128gb and 256gb Samsung 3-4 years ago and never once had a problem.
Man, what happened to all the Samsung Endurance Pro deals? Seemed like there was one every other week for a year and then nothing. Need some new camera cards.
