How can I check the availability in my area on this? Says item is out of stock on the site. Might be out of luck.

PSA: Avoid this toilet LIKE THE PLAGUE

There is a class action lawsuit against American Standard for the Champion 4 using defective parts causing leaking

EDIT: I meant the champion 4, not 5. It's this model!!!

Thanks for the info. I was about ready to pick 3 up. Here is what I found. Probably not worth the potential headache.

I have these installed at my house from last 1 years. No issues of leaking at all. It's a great deal. I got it for $259 last year.

Shows up $97.67 here S Texas, but gonna pass to avoid potential future headaches. I'm more of a Kohler boy anyways.

Unless you have health issues require a chair height, get standard height or as low as you can find. Your bowels will thank you.

I'd advise you to keep an eye on it. Mine was fine for about 2 years and started to run periodically. I ended up just gutting and replacing all the internal tank components when just a new flapper seal didn't fix it. Works fine now but the original components are subpar as the lawsuit alleges in my experience.

While I agree about squatting, I just used the standard height toilet in our house and nearly broke my body because it was lower than my brain expected Stick Out Tongue I've got squatty stools from Aldi with both my toilets, so best of both worlds.

I installed the Round seat version of this toilet about 18 months ago and haven't had any issues. I actually picked up this model a couple weeks ago for $120 and it actually dropped further to $70 the other day. It's sitting in the garage waiting for me to be willing to haul it to my second floor to install it.

I put these in my bathroom and the half bath almost 10 years ago and I've had to plunge them a grand total of 0 times since then. I ended up putting a Kohler in the kids' bathroom and that one I've had to plunge a few times since kids sometimes like to overdo it with the toilet paper.
