I got the M1 iPad Air 256 for $549 (or $599) when they had only been out a few months. My kids have that now and I'm hoping it gets them 5 years of service.

Great iPad - I have one and it runs all games and apps perfectly. If I had to pick one quibble is the Touch ID on the side is way more picky than the old school round button was since it's only able to read a small slice of your fingerprint.

Great for all content on the App Store, streaming any shows etc.

Only thing it's missing is the newest apple pencil support (supports the older pencil) and Promotion display. It doesn't appear to support
Apple AI either but if you're just consuming media it shouldn't matter (https://www.apple.com/apple-intelligence/) - device support list at the bottom

BBY Amazon have NEVER matched anydeal from AAFES, CGX, NXC and such UNLESS the logistics from manufacturers approved a deal before it goes live.

In for one. My daughter's using my 2016 pro and it's way overdue. Hopefully she won't go over 64 gb, but she's only 7, so doubt she would use it to its full potential.
