Got this model "open box" (even though it said complete, pretty sure it's a demo unit) with a 4090 for $1500 at micro center. It runs pretty cool, and has great performance and a solid display (the lack of Miniled or oled is very disappointing.) it's absolutely massive, and doesn't fit in my AER city pack pro (which easily fits 16 inchers.) the battery life is also terrible (3.25 hours with all power saving features and 30% brightness.) the keyboard is the same as the 16" and really awkward at this size. Not sure what specific use case this laptop has over the 16" that's more portable, has a better display, better battery life, and keyboard. The 2024 model at least gives it a better screen. I wouldn't recommend the blade 18 unless you really need a desktop replacement, or have a massive backpack and will always be near a plug. The mercury color of this listing is nice at least.

$1500 for an 18" 4090 razer blade?! Gotta see to believe, because even if the laptop was not turning on I would believe this price lol.
That being said, 2500 for this laptop seems fine, but like you said, the lack of miniled/oled or the dual screen, is kinda of a bummer at this price point.

Heres the receipt: https://imgur.com/a/PH7ku0r
The battery has some wear (~12%), and the drive shows over 1400 hours of use. It was marked as open box complete, but just came with the laptop and charger when I actually opened the outer box. Pretty sure it was a mislabeled demo unit. It really doesn't suit my needs (as I mentioned in my original comment), so I think I'm going to return it or try to exchange it for something similar and smaller.

Return it? You could sell it and make money.

It's risky (and profit will likely be lost to fees) unless I can find a local buyer. Ideally I can get some sort of exchange at MC.

I think you don't realize what's the msrp of this machine lol. The battery could've been totally busted and unusable that this price would still be a major deal.

Not sure if this is a generational thing but the lack of Numpads on 15+" isn't acceptable.
