Seems like a smokin deal, I got the same computer from Costco on a special price about 4 months ago for 1799.

It's French Canadian keyboard. A lot of people won't buy the m2 max 32gb for $1800, let alone m2pro for this price

Not a good deal, rather get the M2 Max than this. With all the MacBook deal going on it's obvious that M4 pro and max is coming in November or by end of year. The deal killer is the keyboard. If you can adjust or use dock it and just a regular US keyboard. It will take some time to adjust. Resale value probably bad later on too. hard pass

I think this is definitely a good deal. The Apple Refurb store has this same unit for $2049. I've used a Macbook with a Canadian keyboard when I worked in Canada and its the same as a USA keyboard except they add some keys with some French accent stuff. It's the same.

few days a ago… macbook pro m2 max 32+1T only $1839.99 I dont think this is a good deal

The sticker idea is interesting, but would block the backlight on the keys from shining through(guessing they still have backlit keyboards).
