I have been spoiled with digitals and their convenience. Given the logic with physicals, I try not to buy digitals when games come out but wait until they are at their lowest. The hassle of reselling them also is a barrier for me. I also like to keep games I play. I can respect your opinion, it is the best way to get the most value out of the experience. I am just lazy to deal with hassles as a seller.

Can confirm I got a copy without the keychain. I do not care about owning a sonic keychain but I can see why the Walmart listing is misleading.

I know this is kinda tangent but it's on steam. I wanted digital version on xbox but currently not on sale. $11.99 for ultimate and $13.49 for deluxe.

How come you wanted a digital copy? I thought for a physical copy you could at least get some of your $ back later. Plus it cheap for the time being. Just asking for your opinion. Not here to attack your choice.

This. Also, I found with 90% of my games digital already, I just don't play games that I have to get up and switch out the physical media for.

Not OP, but for me it's just saves space and clutter combined with convenience. It also helps the environment by reducing plastic waste and transportation of said plastic waste.

The benefits of resale is a huge hassle and not worth the effort for me. Instead, I usually buy digital games when they are heavily on sale. The other benefits like playing off disc, I find not useful as most games require patches. In some rare instances, the disc doesn't even contain a half baked game.

Of course everyone else is free to choose what works for them.
