Edit: This is a FANTASTIC set. It's lots of fun to build, has some great easter eggs, and a really, really impressive collection of minifigures. You can build it with multiple people as each person can take a floor and work simultaneously.

I second this. Picked up on sale for $250 and even at this price it's worth every penny.

It's a really nice set. I very much got sick of the front windows but the set looks stunning on display.

Just a few things to remember, it was $300 when it came out before the first price hikes in LEGO history. Also there is no official word on this set retiring 'soon'.
