Thats true, this time of year for me it it is 1/2 no sunlight, and 1/4 - 1/4 split between rain and sun Wink

Sorry I was just joking about the solar option, I was suggesting using the sun (literally) to dry them.

But if you really wanted solar power it wouldn't be too hard however would need batteries, panels, charge controller, and an inverter that could supply the power. Which is listed as "310W." You'd what an inverter that could supply more power as a buffer though.

One of those larger solar generators might also work paired with a solar panel to recharge it. Again something providing well over the 310 watts. As for the number of 'watt-hours,' I'm not sure about how much capacity it would require.

Easiest / cheapest option would be a small generator or an inverter for your car. Your idling car could provide the power to run the washing machine while existing off grid.

I can't comment as to quality. This washer apparently doesn't have hot cold water options. If I were in the market at $140 I'd give it a try.

I ordered it yesterday and received my tracking number today. But I'm a little concerned because the tracking number I've been given details the shipment as 23x17x11 inches and weighing 35 lbs. The actual item I ordered is at least 24x24x30 and weighs approximately 65 pounds (according to the same item listed on Amazon). Edit: My tracking states it is "Partially Shipped" so hopefully I wasn't scammed and the other half (whatever that could be) will be on it's way too. I also just noticed that the seller has no previous sales or feedback...oh boy. It's due to arrive this coming Tuesday so I suggest no one order this until I get confirmation that it's legit. How this washer could be in two separate 30 lb packages is a mystery to me.

For what its worth and out of "spin" discussion but within Deco brand on Deco site page $86.04 (retail 299) no buydig involved... Smaller countertop "Deco Home 13LB Compact Twin Tub Washing Machine, Agitation Wash And Spin Dry, Portable". No links because SD has a tendency to shoot first . It's on the Deco site and appears to be on sale.

I used the wrong terminology I'm not a plumber forgive me I am a novice. Wanted to help my buddy get a washer set up in his small home w/o one so I watched a lot of Youtube videos and figured out a way to use a regular washing machine instead of a portable on the Faucet. The name of the part you need is a "WASHING MACHINE Y HOSE". Type that in @mazon search and you will see they run about $10-12. You will also need "Garden Hose Adapter 3/4 M to M and F to F connectors". You use the Y mixer to connect to a regular washing machine's Hot and Cold and then it mixer single hose connects to the tap. Don't forget you need a faucet adapter to connect to your faucet. You may need to add regular hoses and connectors to make hoses longer if your washer is far away from the faucet. I extended the hose and bought a drain hose extended as well so my washer could always stay stationary beside my counter and I didn't have to move it at all. What I did was I had a regular size washer right next to the counter. It is very simple and the great thing about the Y hose is you can control hot and cold water from your faucet. It is your choice to use cold only, hot or you can mix and make it warm. Now this set up is idea for an apartment where you cannot alter anything. He used this set up for 6 months but got tired of the hoses and Y mixer hose in his way when he wanted to use the faucet so I figured out a way to do this set up under the counter right at the T valve that supplies water to the faucet I added a T valve splitter to both hot and cold under the sink using a Dishwasher install kit. I used 2 dishwasher hoses and got adapters so I could connect them to the 3/4 washer hose. Remember anything that fits a typical garden hose fits a 3/4 washing machine hose. We installed the drain hose into the regular drain like you would a Dishwasher discharge drain. Used clamps and fed it into the line to a Diswasher branch pipe (some call it tail pipe). You can find all the parts on Amazon. Some of the parts you cannot find in a hardware store and they will look at you like you are crazy LOL. Anyway good luck hooking your regular size washer up. These portable washers are a waste of money because they break often. Go look at videos online of people hooking washers up in their kitchen you will figure it out its very simple once you order all the pieces needed.

don't buy washer from aliexprrss. I identify myself as a professional aliexpress buyer and placed more than 10x orders just for the washer and dryer and none of them shipped out order got canceled automatically after 7-10 days. Most of them have 100+ sold from reputable sellers and shipped from the USA. Totally BS. Never ever shipped out. Totally waste your time, believe it or not. Other things are fine but not those shipped from US. Most of them are not actually in stock though they say it is.

Got mine today via FedEx. Get ready to vacuum up lots of styrofoam, like I did. Didn't hook it up or test it yet. Instructions are in broken English. Only one water hookup so I'll just connect it to the hot water. Realized I need to buy laundry detergent.
