This is a great seat as long as you don't expect to remove part of it and carry the kid around. Though it is very easy to install, it's better left as a permanent fixture in the vehicle. It's very heavy and built like a tank.
Any thoughts on waiting for prime day? Seems the deals are ramping up to get people to jump ahead of that.
Have a britax marathon that we like but doesn't have cupholders, and two graco slimfit 3in1 that we also like the price but seem a little lower grade than the britax. Debating what to go for the last one.
In need of one. Currently have a graco 4ever dlx in a highlander. How does this one compare to the graco 4ever dlx? Would this fit ok in a highlander?
We have two of these in our 2020 Highlander without issue. I have them in the captain's chairs and they were easy to install. Like others mentioned, they are somewhat cumbersome so mine are left in the Highlander at all times.
So we have @ a 8 month old if I m understanding correctly this is good for when the entire thing is left in the car and you make the kid sit and put the belts on correct?
I have this exact car seat, and 3 Britax in total. I 100% recommend it. The seat is sturdy, simple to install, stays in place, comfortable, and easy to get kids in and out. These apply to having it both forward and rear facing. Easy to clean, and the cup holders are in great position for the kids to reach their drink. Way better than Diono Radian series. They aren't made for travel, but that's what travel specific seats are for. They are 19.5" wide, so you will not get 3 of these across a row in just about any vehicle.
I purchased this same car seat during the last deal at same price and had to return it. It is built like a tank, but impossible to pull the harness tight enough after my kid is strapped in. I am not sure if the one I received had a defect but others in the reviews had similar issues.
