If you are doing just that or watching videos/movies, why doesn't a better screen and sound make sense?

I know this is a pro model ( better speaker , screen , 120hz) but if you are just going to use for browsing and taking notes wouldn't iPad Air Latest Gen with $100 Apple GC cheaper and make lot more sense ! Also this is from 2022 and as a consumer does it make sense to go for the air which is like 2024 vs 2022 but relatively same processor and size .

This seems like a pretty good deal for a last gen cellular 11" iPad Pro. M2 should be more than powerful enough.

Air is compatible with the newest Apple Pencil Pro. Pro is compatible with last gen Apple Pencil 2.

Also, the Air's selfie camera is centered in landscape, while Pro is centered in portrait. Better for Zoom meetings.

I do not own either but have been looking into upgrading my older Ipad Air.

The other advantages of the Pro are the Thunderbolt port if you transfer data a bunch or want to hook up an external monitor or dock. Also, the 1tb and higher models have 16mb of RAM which speeds up everything and is not available on the Air. The Air is about 3 oz lighter though, which is a big difference for something you might be holding in your hands for hours.

I can not make up my mind. My current Air has 256mb and I still run out of space regularly, so am looking at bumping that up. The prices ramp up so much for more storage though.

What is 3oz lighter? The 2024 iPad Air and 2022 iPad Pro are practically the same exact weight, maybe some grams difference certainly not ounces different.

My bad. That weight difference only applies to the 13 inch models, 65 grams heavier for the old Pro.

If my iPad has a couple of deep scratches (no cracks), is Best Buy pretty nitpicky and dock $$$ off the trade-in value? I have a M1 12.9 iPad Pro cellular.
