This is not even close to being the best basmati rice you can buy in America. It's of less than average quality. Good basmati rice has long grains of rice and when it is cooked those grains don't stick together so much. The grains of this rice aren't as long and they are much stickier.

Nonsense. My family's been buying 20 pound bags of this rice every month since the 80s. It's the best Basmati rice you can buy in America full stop.

Thats why you CLEAN and RINSE (a few times) the rice before you place it in the rice cooker

I have bought this from Costco, Sam's Club, and Amazon for years and I've found a bug only once.
Always freeze the bag of rice if you're worried about bugs in rice.

For folks who don't clean the rice well before cooking it's not how you boil and cook it. Thumb rule is the clean the rice with water atleast 2-3 times before cooking
