I didn't used to like BL series but played through 2-3 of them this year. Fun games but some seem to drag out way too long. I feel like the BL3 should have been 12-15 hours of campaign, not 35-40. Not complaining about the amount of content but much of it could have optional side missions that way you could choose to blow through the game faster if you wanted. Many of the story missions just feel like unneeded filler, welcome to have but again, would be nice if much of it wasn't required for progression.

For example, I thought New Tales from the Borderlands was about the perfect amount of story content. Still plenty to do after the main campaign if you are so inclined.
