Thank you OP! I purchased this for full price last week. Submitted a price adjustment, hope it goes through.

My Costco membership has recently expired, but I found out that I could still make a purchase by paying an additional $7.50 surcharge.
However, this model is prone to failure within a year or two judging from the reviews. As a non-Costco member, I'm wondering if I'll be able to return/exchange it in case it failed?

Check if there is a rebate from your utility company. I just checked that there is a $25 rebate for me.

Bought one of these the last go round, cant keep a 2,000 sq ft basement below 60% humidity. Sent a message to them asking about it 2 weeks ago, no response...

Costco also has a Midea 50-Pint on sale for $140. Thinking that might be a better option for only $20 more.

Regarding a rebate, our electric utility has $10 if the Integrated Energy Factor is >1.80 L/kWh and $50 if it is >1.90 L/kWh

The Hisense site doesn't list the Integrated Energy Factor. Anyone else been able to find it?

That one has only 1 year warranty. My Peloni (made by Midea) dehumidifier died some time ago and it was never that efficient. So I rather try a cheaper one with better review and longer warranty.

My utility company (DTE) offers $25 rebate on Energy Star compliant dehumidifiers on their database. I just need to enter the model and purchase information to see if it is qualify before submitting the rebate.

I swear these things never shut off. Im now running two of these in a ~2,200 sq ft basement and even once they achieve the 50% desired level, the fan is still blowing hard.
