I own the Q990D, and while it's amazing, it's main feature is 120 Hz. The sound quality is basically identical.

990 bar == 910 bar + up fire drivers...based on rtings most of times they sound exactly same except for atoms contents.

The bars are NOT identical. Size: 43.7 x 2.3 x 4.7 (910c) vs 48.5" x 2.7" x 5.4" (990c). Also the subwoofer is bigger and the rears also.

Not even close. I had the 910c. Promptly returned. Biggest problem with the 910 was the wimpy rear speakers. Physically tiny with a single front driver and that's it. Could barely hear them most of the time. This unit has much better rear speakers with multiple drivers. this soundbar is bigger and also has more drivers in the bar itself. Plus a physically bigger higher wattage and higher end sub. They definitely do not sound the same...
