Never getting these again. Trash imo....

Gets gunked up with bacteria, you gotta buy filters constantly.... i threw the 2 i bought out due to consistent mold issues.

Reccomens everyone pass on this.

You just need to learn how to take care of these. I've used mine for 3 years steady with zero mold issues. Studies have shown that the ultrasonic type is unhealthy compared to these. You are supposed to clean these every couple of days , ideally use distilled water instead of nasty tap water and renew the wicker (not filter) every so often.

They can be cleaned to prevent sludge. But with regular tap water, the salts and minerals in the water become fine dust from the small droplets, which can be quite unhealthy.
