What a waste of time. Only three gift cards mentioned by OP as examples are eligible for 15$ GC. The one with Home Depot is not part of the deal.

It would take some crazy spending at Target to make the 6% from this annual fee card beat the 5% from a free RedCard.

This is true. I thought I was losing my mind, but the Home Depot "cheers to you" card is not listed in this deal.

Just a reminder if you buy a few of these, especially using it to qualify for a circle bonus they will ban your circle account. You can still shop, and the auto applied circle deals now still work (so the ban isn't as big a deal anymore), but you won't see a bonus ever again. They have done it to 3 of my accounts now.

I've never heard of this. I bought nearly two dozen of these the last promotion (about a dozen for lowe's version and a dozen for airbnb) and got all my bonus target cards and no indication of ban. Had to purchase each one separately but worked just fine. You might qualify your comment as its not universally true as your comment implied
