Bought this last year at this price. Watch out, the price likely might drop to $999 in few weeks, like it did last year. You can price match.

Check with your local water supply for rebates. They usually have $200 rebates for this energy efficient model.

Why are these called mega? Isn't 5.2 just large? Mega makes them sound huge.

On the web page it also says it is eligible for Costco Direct $100 savings (buy 2 get $100) and that this IS combinable with other offers.

Also there is some prominent graphic on the page shows LG Perfect Laundry Pair for another $100 off. This appears to be from LG directly.

Both of these are mentioned as rebates that should show up in the cart. But, I've gone through the entire process, with the exception of placing the order, and I never see anything except the $600 Spend and Save discount.

Also, note that there is a 1 year extension to the manufacturer's warranty as long as you PURCHASE by July 10 (doesn't appear to be that you have to take delivery and/or register for this promotion by then). https://www.lg.com/us/promotions/...n/view-all

I bought this LG pair last year when moving to a new house. The washer is okay but the dryer is kinda meh. Sometimes i had to run an extra cycle to get clothes dry. Some bell and whistle technology like an mobile app which you can track the washer and dryer operations, download extra specific cycles. But overall, not impressed. My friend has a GE dryer which can easily get this LG smoked. I will go for GE the next purchase.

Throw in both the sidekick washer pedestal and dryer storage pedestal for just $400 more. I think this is a solid deal!

The "smart" features in our WashTower worked pretty well for about a year, then it began having connectivity issues and it has been getting progressively worse. Lots of activity in forums about this.
