Pedestal Option: without Pedestals << just the washer/dryer, no riser pedestals
Pedestal Option: with Pedestal Washer << the pedestal under the washer actually has another (small) washing machine inside instead of being just a drawer. This is used for small loads, though I have never used one personally.
Pedestal Option: without Pedestals, plus Stacking Kit << This is if you want to stack the dryer on top of the washer (i.e. you have vertical space, but not the side by side space). Keep in mind that the top of the dryer in this configuration will be 82" (6.75 ft) above the ground. If you are short, this may be hard to reach without a step.
Another thing to keep in mind is the space you have laterally. These units are large. My current units are 27" wide each. That means I need around 56-57" total width to allow some airflow between them. LG requires 1" on left, 1" between, 1" on right of a side-by-side unit configuration. The units themselves are 29" wide. This means you will need 61" (or at minimum 60") of lateral space. For most, this may be fine, but my home had built the wall/counter/cabinets exactly at 57" wide to accommodate the original w/d I guess. To change that would require tearing out a cabinet (which is more than I'm willing to sacrifice). Measure twice....or three times.....if close!

Also there is some prominent graphic on the page shows LG Perfect Laundry Pair for another $100 off. This appears to be from LG directly.
Both of these are mentioned as rebates that should show up in the cart. But, I've gone through the entire process, with the exception of placing the order, and I never see anything except the $600 Spend and Save discount.
Also, note that there is a 1 year extension to the manufacturer's warranty as long as you PURCHASE by July 10 (doesn't appear to be that you have to take delivery and/or register for this promotion by then). https://www.lg.com/us/promotions/...n/view-all
It could be that they factored everything into the $600 bundle discount and just didn't rename it? $400 for spending over $1999 + $100 for buying 2 (costco direct) + $100 LG discount?
To get a pure $600 spend and save, you would need to spend more than $2499 (calculated AFTER any other coupons, discounts, offers, by the way....so AFTER the $100 LG + $100 costco direct savings).
I could be wrong though.
What surprises me is that these LG units are so cheap, but the GE units are actually $100 MORE than other retailers (GE direct, best buy, Home Depot, etc). I want the LG but they won't fit.

When you say price match, are you saying it will be 999 elsewhere and Costco would price match?
I've only had one issue so far, that started recently with the washer control panel starting to have some phantom button presses. The issue resolves when I unplug it and plug it back in and it looks like the replacement part isn't too expensive on eBay if it gets worse.
Overall I'm very happy with the units.
