This tool is amazing, particularly if nailing a lot of hangers in tight places. I didn't really want to have another battery system, but I don't think anyone else makes a similar tool.

I had no idea they had something like this. It looks good for tight spaces, but otherwise it's faster to just use the ol' hammer to drive in your nails.

Some time you just wish you have something like that for couple of minutes. Screws and 90 degree adapter will do the trick though

There are many brands that sell pneumatic palm mailers which accomplish the same thing. Milwaukee has an cordless M12 version:

I have this. Very useful as a substitute for a air hammer i like that the head can be swiveled and can fit in places where a palm nailer wouldnt. Hikoki (metabo hpt here in the US) had one available in other countries but seems to be discontinued now.

Craftsman used to make one under the Nextec brand about 10 years ago. I remember it got a hammerhead shark logo on it.

I have used a palm nailer for over a decade and they work great. I am building a carriage house with hundreds of hangers and picked up a dedicated pneumatic hanger nailer on sale at Lowe's for $99. It is now $125

This could be the best tool you never knew you needed! I recently built a large shed, was invaluable nailing in tight spots like soffits, also had to use aluminum nails in part of the build, don't know if you have ever tired using aluminum nails, they bend so easily, using a hammer it would take me 3 nails before I got one in without bending, this auto-nailer put them in without issue.

For this price, it is almost a no-brainer to add to your arsenal of tools. You many not use it everyday, but when the need arises, you will be so happy you have it!

Ah Slickdeals, the place where there will be dozens of people buy this tool who will never use it, but the price is too good to pass up. Would look good next to all the other cordless tools, though. 🤣

I have one of those Nextec Hammerhead's that sat for ages w/o use, then I needed to repair some fascia that had come loose on the house in an awkward on ladder location and it did the job in a heartbeat. Great tool when you need it.

I still have that Nextec hammer head it still works great, drives smaller to medium nails with ease smooth finish, larger jobs get the nail gun, but the batteries for that old 12 volt Nextec are hard to find now, wish Ryobi would come out with one like that now that is mostly what I have now.

I was going to say the same thing. Rarely use the hammerhead, but sometimes it is the perfect the tool for the job. It's really the only reason that I'm still holding onto my Nextec tools.

If you have a big project with lots of hangers this $125 tool will get the job done about 10 times quicker.
