I have one of these pans and it is terrible at pouring out liquids. It doesn't have a rolled edge and just spills all over. I'm not sure what you going to get but that has been my experience.

Yeah this style of sauce pot almost never has a lip. Just the way things are I guess, and I've just learned to use a ladle or spoon every time. If you want to pour then they have pots with beaks on them which work well but almost always made of thinner metal walls and lids don't fit as well on them if that's something you care about.

I have the 2qt and 3qt as my go to small pot and they are excellent.

The only difference is mine have the stainless rather than the glass lid.

Zero issues pouring. No spillage it messes at all.

Made in Brazil!

Have had my Tri Ply pieces for something like 15 years now. They are still great. The 2 quart sauce pan is by far the most used. Our next size up is a 3.5 quart. This 3 quart is probably a nice size.

I have the 3Qt already. I just ordered the 1, 2 and 3 QT set as it has a 20% off coupon on Amazon.
This link goes to a nonstick set. Do you have a link for Tramotina 3 piece set?

I like this one better. Same price (technically $0.10 cheaper), same brand, steel lid, oven rated for 500 (vs 350)

No, you won't use half the pans in any set...buy separately and only the ones you need.
Other than that, Tramontina is a great mid range product and well worth owning.

I concur. I have a whole Tramontina set and it is the one thing I hate about all of them whether it's trying to drain pasta, pour a sauce into another dish or pot, or anything else. You don't always have to have a "beak" on pots to do this, as someone else stated. It just needs a curve around the entire top.
