If anyone is on the fence I have brought at least 3 from server parts deal over the years. All of them have passed a full disk check before being put into service, which I recommend everyone does even in brand new drives before using them. it generally takes a little over 24 hrs for it to scan an 18TB drive. They are still in use to this day without any hiccups.
bought two last time, kind of loud but it was worth it, no issues yet.
The larger the drive the younger it tends to be.
May grab one of these before I close up the new box.
