This is exactly clean and crisp. My first cologne and still one that I use even after hundreds of dollars spent on other scents. This is a great price AND a lot. Only downside is longevity is not a full school/work day.
I use the Versace you mentioned, how's the Chanel compared to this one? Super picky on scents.
I don't really know how to describe it, but I prefer the Chanel now. I think it is much more subtle, but more pleasant when you actually smell it. idk how to put it.
Most colognes wear different on different skins. I would recommend you try it out in the mall (just spray this one, nothing else), and then see how it wears on you hours later. Get second opinion from your partner or someone else. Remember to get the opinion after few hours, not immediately.
If I like Polo Black, is there a recommendation here?
Jazz club is a masculine, leather, smooth, creamy, bourbon fragrance that would compliment the Polo black nicely. Something difference and new yet not unfamiliar.
My wife and I (plus kids) just went to Sephora to smell them all.
Versace Man Eau Fraiche Eau - No one liked this one. Very fruity
Versace Eros Eau de Toilette - My 13-year-old loved this, this has a strong citrus smell.
Versace Pour Homme Eau - Slight pine-ish smell. My wife loved it. I am 48 and she said this one smelled like a man vs the other 2, that she liked, but felt they smelled more like a teenager.
Just our 2 cents if it helps anyone.
Thank you! It's always very troublesome for me to buy Toilette/Cologne/Parfum online. It was a great insight! I wish you also tried Tom Ford Oud Wood and Creed Millesime Imperial lol
I hate shopping them in the store where sales people are trying to sell you. I wish one day they can be tested and shopped like clothes without someone trying to sell you or help you. I personally prefer to shop myself. If I need help, I will let them know lol
I ordered 100ml for 170$. Great deal, the cheapest price outside is Fragrantica.net at 251$. I went on a quick trip to Bloomingdale to ensure I liked the scent.

I haven't used cologne in years. Just take daily showers and use deodorant
That is like saying washing your car and drying it is enough. Some of us like to wax our cars as well.
Wearing a good cologne sets you apart from the rest. When someone gets close to you and discovers your pleasing smell, they associate you with that appeal. Now if you smell like dial soap, they think you just showed up at a gym locker room. To each their own.
Bought one. Got my son Eros from a price match a few weeks ago and that was a mistake, too dang strong for a kid. Hopefully this does the trick
a simple google search shows Eros was originally a club scent. Though not as strong as it once was, it is still a decent buy at 6.7 at this price.
Definitely not for kids
FYI bought Frederic Malle's Portrait of a Lady from Costco and it was an older batch - verified on check fresh. Smelled different from testing it in a store and returned it.
Get lattafa Asad for a clean office crisp fragrance, get nebras for a summer scent, and get kamrah for a date/cool weather.
All perform better fir much less.
They are all also very different types of fragrances from Eros though. Asad/Sauvage Elixir is the closest by virtue of it also being a youthful club scent like Eros. And those are all going to perform better because they aren't the same kind of warm weather freshie that Eros is. I mean, I like Lattafa but Eros isn't a bad price when it's on sale. If I was going to recommend a Lattafa to replace Eros, I'd recommend Blue Saphire, which is an Eros clone. But that's gonna run $30 or so for 100ml and this deal for Eros is only double the price for 200ml of the real deal. So if I were in the position of looking between Blue Saphire and Eros, I'd just grab the big bottle of Eros.
