16 people in one tent sounds like an Arizona prison. Wouldn't 3 or 4 smaller tents make a lot more sense?

Ozark Trail is cheap quality. Walmart makes the fiberglass poles and the fabric thinner. I bought this tent a few years ago and got one use out of it after multiple poles busted.

I'm going to add, unless you are camping in a large open area its going to be a pain to find a spot large enough to set this up.

When I was in prison at Yuma, we waited in a similar tent for the 3:10.

Used to have one similar to this. Very time consuming to set up and lots of fiberglass poles that won't last long. Do yourself a favor and just get one of those new instant tents

On the plus side though, I imagine it will come down pretty quickly :-)

For a parent camping with small children this makes sense.

Not sure why everyone is talking about fiberglass poles. The vast majority are metal. I have the same tent but it's orange and may be a slightly older version since we have had it for 5 or 6 years. It looks to be identical. We've used is 4 or 5 times a year since then and it has held up very well.

The only complaint I have with it is that it does take a huge footprint to set up. If you're at place with pre arranged campsites there's a good chance you won't find a spot big enough for it. On a couple occasions we set up only 3 of the 4 "wings" and got that to fit - the fourth just kind of dangled. Not ideal but it works. We have loved the ton of space for our kids, but realistically two smaller tents would have been ok.
