I bought two from Walmart about a year and a half ago. Both have lids that stopped functioning after a year. I cannot recommend this product

I don't think I can recommend touch free sensors either. The one I bought from Costco also stopped working

I bought one of these about 9 months ago. It's still working. My dumb brain now tells me wave my hand in front of any garbage can, thinking it will open.
