So it's not 87 cents, it's the cost of a dozen PLUS 87 cents... so more like two dozen for 10 bucks or so?

Would be a lot slicker if it was just 87 cents for a dozen plain and simple. PASS.

True, must buy one dozen at regular price to get the second dozen for $0.87.

I imagine Krispy Kreme would lose money selling a dozen donuts for $0.87 without requiring any other purchase. That's just not feasible, IMO.

A dozen is like $17 around me. It's not even worth for me when its b1g1 free. They have had deals before like a dozen for the price of gas, now $4.30 for the dozen was worth it.

I hate to be a co-signer but I agree. They should have just done buy one get one free. The .87 just doesn't sit well with my soul LOL

In my area 1 Dozen is $22.49 for Classic or $19.99 for Original Glazed.

There's no way I'm paying $18 for $2 worth of fried batter. These prices have gotten absurd.

LOL, they are on sale now for $12 a dozen now. On the 12th they will cost $15.19 a dozen original or $17.19 for custom. Waiting a few days to get 2 doz for $18 VS $24 is no brainer.....that said why the heck do I want to spend $18 for 2 dozen donuts?!!!! The prices keep going up the last few years. I've not bought for at least a year now because the sales are not really slick or motivating. Peace

yeah, I had no idea what dozen donuts cost these days but reading these comments, I agree that these are just crazy prices. I always thought they were probably around 5 to 7 bucks. At $22 dozen thats almost $2 per donut!

10g of sugar per donut.
I'm pretty sure if you are buying a glazed donut you are aware it contains sugar. These aren't made of carrots and glazed with cucumber juice.

I probably buy donuts once a year and it doesn't end well lol. But with a KK 24 hr drive through a 2 minute drive from me, it's so tempting to eat often. not the same, but to satisfy my craving I just make protein waffles or pb and suhlgar free jam sandwiches on wheat bread . I tried making protein donuts for awhile using air fryer and silicone donut molds but it's more of a hassle to prepare.

You don't have to just imagine they would lose money... they absolutely would lose money. That type of deal wouldn't make business sense. Two dozen donuts is a lot though, so if a dozen is $9 or so, then just saying a dozen for $5 would have made more sense... just not as catchy as flashing 87 cents.

It is to bad that the prices are so high but a dozen near where I live is 14.95 for original and 16.95 for variety mixed.

Seeing as I can't make as a good doughnut at home and with KK having to pay $20 an hour, it ain't that bad. I am not sure what else they can do.
