This is what they mean by "measure twice, cut once," right?

Yeah limey, as if we heathen Americans care about your metric system. Feet and inches works just fine.

Perfect timing. I've been meaning to replace some old worn out tape measures in my shop. Seems like a good deal.

is it not common to have good tape measures with both inch and cm markings?

Man it's always the 25ft tapes. Has anyone ever seen the 16 footers go on sale? I already had bought 2 two packs of these from previous sales. The Fatmax tapes are awesome. A little bit heavier than standart tapes but the crazy long stand out is worth it. highly recommend

I've tried several brands, the fat max tape measures are the best. This isn't the best price I've seen on these, but it is a good price for sure.

I bought into the hype on this tape measure last year. My 24 year old Stanley PowerLock puts it to shame. The return spring on the FatMax is too weak and the standout length is less than my old tape measure. I keep the PowerLock in the most used toolbox.

EDIT: I don't mean to say today's version of the PowerLock is better than a FatMax. But today's FatMax isn't all that.
EDIT2: I will concede it's possible I got a dud FatMax. In that case quality control sucks! =P

I have been a construction electrician for 30 year and I have never once needed a metric tape measure. But to each his own,

Only markings on one side of the tape. Hard pass for me.

Look again at the other photos. Markings are on both sides. The lead photo is a little deceiving.
