I'm just getting into Persona, and I've finished 3 Reload, 4 Golden, and have just started 5 Royal. I know this series has plenty of offshoot games, but I don't know much about this one, so I would appreciate it if anyone could fill me in. Strikers is one that I'm interested in, but I don't think this is the same type of game at all.

This one is tactical role playing so it's a different style. Looks to be a different story from the persona 5 line but I'm not too sure.

You'd probably want this version to stick with the style and story

Tactica is like Mario rabbids and supposedly isn't as good as persona 4 and 5 due to gameplay. I think it's good but just different bc I really like Mario rabbids.

Strikers I haven't gotten to so much because it's more real time and more button jamming than persona 4 and 5 (strikers is not turned based).

If you like JRPGs, just stick to the the mainline games. These side story games are not as good.
Tactica is like Mario Rabbids and the story is not great, feels like they phoned it in on the last area. If you like rhythm games then the Dancing all Night games are fun, but really only for those that like those types of games. Ultimax is a fighting game, but the story mode is pretty much a full on visual novel. Strikers for me is the best of the bunch but the story isn't canon since it follows the ending to 5 vanilla, not Royal.
