I'll stick to my Mr. Coffee for now.
1. Unlike a Keurig machine which provides a steady stream of water for the duration of the brew, this one pulses as you would expect from a drip machine. So it will pulse an ounce or two of water through the k-cup, pause and do so again. I was using pods that I haven't used before so perhaps they weren't as strong as other ones, but it seemed like they were more watered down.
2. It's pulsing action creates a mess. Rather than a steady stream, each pulse of 1 to 2 oz of coffee hitting the cup splashes.
I did not try the full carafe. I figured that would be decent.
My conclusion based on very limited testing is that if your primary use case is full carafe, and your secondary use case is k-cup, then this might be a good machine.
However, if your primary use case is k-cup, and your secondary use case is carafe, this is not the best machine.
I'm going to get a dedicated k-cup machine.
