The processor got a real upgrade this time. GW7's Exynos W1000 is penta-core 3nm, compared to older model's W920/W930 dual-core 5nm SoC. Expect a moderate to big increase in speed and battery life.

It also advertises a better heart-rate sensor, along with the temperature sensor introduced by GW6.

I figured out the bug/loop. If you are not seeing the discounts it might be because you have already pre-ordered another product from Samsung recently or in a separate order.
Just create a new account, select education discount and viola!

Too bad the black sport band is dead for the 40mm model. Guess I'll make it work with this new green color their forcing now. It'll match an army green watch I had from 20 years ago. 😅

Decent price to upgrade from my watch 5 but unless I see any reviews for battery life being substantially better I'm still not convinced to upgrade. The higher end model and does sound like a pretty significant step, that is too steep. Hopefully more aggressive pricing on the latter over the next few months

I had the same problem.
I did not see the $50 pre-order credit when ordering from my desktop.
Installed the app and went through the process and saw the $50 credit. Total $83.99 in the cart. Go to check out and the price jumps to $104.

Fix:
Relogged into samsung.com on my desktop. The $50 credit automatically showed up and the $83.99 price stayed through check out. Weird.
