SQ makes some of, if not the most, reliable machines on the market. They are often used in laundromats and other high use environments.

Speed Queen is one of the most reliable and strongest machines. However they aren't designed to be lookers or show-stoppers in a laundry room which is what a lot of the market is. Simple. Strong. Serviceable (should you need it)

I've heard they are THE most reliable USA built machines on the market.
They are commercial units built extremely well and if taken care of will outlast you.

Pretty reputable in commercial laundromats. They've made consumer products for awhile as well. It's basically a no frills washer and dryer of yesteryear (top loader with an agitator vs front loader water efficient). They come with 5 year warranty and they're pretty rugged.

Do you have a Maytag commercial? If so, it may be better than the SQ. SQ is reliable and lasts but recent reviews show they do not clean as well.

Not unless you're experiencing issues. Deals will come and go.

The newer units use less water as default (EPA requirements I think). You have to change the wash cycle to increase water level.

I've had this washer for about 3 years and we love it. It's quick and gets the clothes much cleaner than our last "efficient" one. And we have not handle a single issue with it. I like that it has less technology on it that can break or malfunction.
