Has anybody seen somewhere where they no longer use nickel for the charging connectors on the Buds 3 pro? The Buds pro 2 gave me ear infections from this. I can't find anything on this pair.

I recently got the charger to my buds 2 Pro wet. The case was in my pocket when I went in the water, while the buds are in my ear. With the buds being still good? Can I trade those in without the charging case?
