Another really solid flashlight from wurkkos with about 600 lumen sustainable output that doesn't go down as the battery drains due to the regulated driver.

I personally own 5 flashlights with Nichia 519a emitter, and will probably buy this since the price is good enough. Fantastic CRI, I can finally get warmer 4000k tint, and when doing MTB at night, having 2 or 3 lights between helmet and handlebar makes a huge difference.

Simple UI, no frills, and solid performance. I do personally prefer anduril 2.0 but it is a pain to set up, so this is far better for most consumers.

Good to see lights with better drivers coming down in price.
Tint is important too. I have some of the 519a emitters at 5000K and they're about perfect.

No Anduril is a no-buy for me though. Well that, and I don't need another flashlight in my drawer.

It's nice to have more than one tint option from wurkkos for sure. Usually they only give you a single one and they tend to be too cool for my taste, and SST40 is a no go for me due to low CRI and green tint with warmer colors.

519 a 4500k dedomed on my Convoy S2+ is perfection for me. 519a in 5000k is almost perfectly neutral. I have 2 TS25s, one with dedomed 519a and one I haven't touched. I prefer warmer tints, so I'll probably dedome the 4000k emitter on this and see how I like it!

Plus, it seems like this light is very well reviewed and lowest price it's been so far.

I have the original FC11 with their rechargeable battery in 5000K and it's been a fantastic light. Battery is 2200mah and obviously isnt as good as my 3700mah Samsung, but it's not bad for the price. Decent CRI and I like that they give you a choice for cooler or warmer tint. I paid about the same price pre-Covid.

Try contacting wurkkos on their site via messaging on orders. I usually get a response in a couple of days doing that.

The odds of the light being DOA are quite low. I once thought mine was dead, but the tailcap just wasn't fully tightened. Have you checked that, polarity of battery, and measured the voltage of the battery with a multimeter?

Seems like the deal will be over on July 16th. For anyone who missed the WK03 from amazon.com, this is a better light with higher sustained output for a couple more $.

Is it possible on this to unscrew the bezel to get to the emitter for easy dedoming?

It's not like the TS25 or TS26S that I've dedomed where the bezel screws off easily. There's glue or loctite on the threads. You can still do it, but need to heat the bezel with either boiling water or a a heat gun.

Then use strap tool or something like bicycle inner tube with other tool to open it. It comes off easily once the glue breaks and there's oring there.

Dedoming 519a itself is a piece of cake as you know. So I'd say it's not too difficult, but pretty annoying.

Do you like very pure white light, or warmer tint? The 5000k won't be quite blue but rather just white, and 4000k will be slightly warmer like incandescent lights. I prefer 4000k myself but it's really a matter of taste.

I'll get the 4000 as it's more of a natural light

Not sure how it compares to FC11, but I was looking for a flashlight for upcoming camping trump and found the FC13S for $14 from Amazon.

Main difference is that FC13 or FC13S lacks a buck or boost driver and has a different emitter. Both are great options but I love nichia 519a which this one has, and already have 5 lights with same emitter.
