Check with local rebates in your state. It looks like California has a $40-off coupon for this.. easy sign up online and they'll give you a code to apply at checkout, bringing it down to like $11.99
You can also link your thermostat to other companies (Ohmconnect or your energy company) to get extra $$ back. OhmConnect gave me $50, CapitalOne gave me $40 and SCE seems to give $125 bill-credit plus some summer monthly-credits. (If you don't mind sharing the data, which I don't)

Might have to switch from Nest to this since we've become a Ring household.
My power company (ComEd) has a $75 instant rebate on this and it sells for $76. Pay tax on full amount but has free shipping so would be $7.08 for one. Limit is one rebate though and I need two units for my house. https://secure.comed.com/marketpl...hermostats

Problem with the CA rebate at least is it only lets you buy from BestBuy/HomeDepot/Lowes, which doesn't have the same deal? Unless I'm missing something...
