The problem with refurbished is that they are still "used". The manufacturer or someone authorized simply fixes the known issue and you're left with used still with potential issues elsewhere.
With that said, I decided to go cordless and buy a Dyson after. Best decision of my life, as is the case with almost anything I've gone cordless with. Some websites offer payment plans fwiw.
Suction is the same, portability and function 100x better with the Dyson.
Hell no wonder they also sell fans now.
But anything could be better than a shark. So even my dyson animal spraying dirt into the air would work better than some cheap vac with no high powered roller an suction
The V8 Animal is the best vac I've owned to date, save for maybe an old Electrolux. As of yet, I haven't had any issue with dust shooting out of canister. The Karcher VCN 3 I bought shoots dust out, and so does my Makita stick vac, so idk. Had my Dyson done that, I would've returned right away as that would be unacceptable for the price.

There is nothing wrong with Dyson and their prices aren't that crazy.
