Pretty disappointed in this watch. My car burned up while I was trying to get home for Thanksgiving, and we had to get a motel. Our wallets also burned up in the fire, and the guy I was with was able to trade his watch for a room.

I tried to do the same thing with this watch and he told me to get lost! I even slid it across my arm to show how nice it was!

FYI, the watch case is actually resin with a chrome plate per Casio's website. [casio.com] The only thing that is stainless steel is the bracelet.

Best watches I ever owned. The only ones I've owned for several decades. I have 10 year old ones still keeping time in various drawers or garage boxes.

How easy is it to shorten the bands? DYI or need to go to a jeweler?

No fuss watch. Like the simplicity and durability of these Casio watches.

I bought the Casio watch in 2012 and it's still running strong and I still wear it everyday.

The good old watch became part of my life

Seems to be one of the few Casio watches that actually has a stainless steel band. Most I've seen are resin. The case here is plastic, but I don't mind that. Grabbed 1, thanks!

The amazon photo trying to give you some sort of size context is pretty funny.

"This watch face is roughly 62.483% the height of a credit card... you're welcome"

Nope! it has a clasp system that tightens without the need of removal of links

Nice deal.
I actually bought this exact watch a little over a month ago and I've been very happy with it.
Looks good, comfortable, very easy to adjust the band.
I had a classic plastic Casio f91w I got back in 2011 that I also still use and absolutely love.
Believe it or not I've only replaced the battery in that watch once after 13 years of use.
Timeless look, dead simple, and insanely reliable.

Grab it, I have a galaxy watch 4 classic, and a steeldive 1970. This is my favorite watch. It wears light, and i use the stopwatch function daily for cooking.

Believe it or not, there are a ton of counterfeits of the a158 out there. Even as cheap as it is, there's room to make a profit on counterfeiting. As always, Amazon's supply can be messy. Here's how to tell the difference. I received a fake a few years ago and it was very good. The only way I found out was that it didn't keep time to Casio's spec. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=S1aOWyCT-MU

I have this watch. It's great except for some reason the links really like to catch my arm/wrist hairs.
