Got this deal last time and very happy considering multiple cameras and no subscription since it includes the sync module which is basically like your storage device (there are some advanced features that do require a subscription but not features I have wanted or needed). It's not perfect and there may be better products out there but they'll be more expensive and some may require subscription. This is a great starter set, decent app control and syncs with Alexa for notifications.

It would be best if you located the wires first. If you don't have any wires, you must run a new wire from your panel or outlet to get electricity. I have an open wall in the basement; therefore, running a new wire is not a problem

Does anyone have any experience with mounting the light on a soffit? That's where my current porch lights are. I'm sure they are adjustable enough, but thought I would ask. Also, I'm not seeing if the light is motion activated? I assume so, but I could see that line also applying to the camera instead. I also assume you wouldn't need batteries in the camera on the wired light?

I got these last time, installed the two wired ones and sold the other ones for $100 so I got the ones I wanted for free. May do the same this time.
