I hate how these things typically not state the R value, and looking for it is a PITA. It makes a big difference for some.

I know you are referring to radius of curvature but when expressed that way I think of insulation :p

But I bought this last time, very mild curve, usbc is the main selling point and some adjustment will make the picture quality pop; but $250 is pretty common for usbc ips 60Hz monitor sales now

I've been using this monitor for 2 months. It is great for office or work at home use, and definitely not for gaming purpose. It comes with USB c port with power delivery so it works well for many laptop users. Btw as other mentioned too that it is not curved enough which might affect slightly on viewing experience. Overall speaking it is great ultra wide monitor at this price.

There are many other features i.e. kvm/multiple displays, external sound which might be interesting for some people but I don't use them at all.

I currently have a monitor connected to my macbook air M2 using a hub to connect usbc port to hdmi for that monitor but looking to add an additional monitor. I'm not super tech savvy and have read that some macbooks don't allow for more than 1 external monitor display. Anybody have any advice/workaround? This LG monitor seems to fit the budget I'm aiming for but want to make sure I'm able to connect an additional monitor before buying.

3800R, and NIC is capped at USB 2.0, about 300Mbps.

Macbook air M2 natively only supports one external monitor. There may be workarounds to get more than one external display but I'm not aware. With that said, not sure how large your current monitor is but this one provides a lot of real estate in my opinion so given that you're potentially restricted to a single external monitor maybe it'll be enough for your needs?

edit: Looked into it. Your laptop, alone, won't natively support multiple monitors but apparently with this hub it will: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F2SZQYX

I bought this monitor during the April sale and it died on me yesterday. Showing horizontal scan lines. Went through the troubleshooting process and just completed the warranty process with LG today.
Used the monitor just about daily, sometimes for 4 hours+; mix of gaming and productivity. Worked well while it lasted, disappointed it died so soon - only remit is an LG online credit to buy another monitor and I'm looking now for one with similar specs and can't find any just yet.

Edit:
The support process with LG has been atrocious. I've done this process with Dell and had very little friction for my 27" replacement. LG has me concerned about how things might go down with the second monitor, since I need/only have their store credit to purchase another LG. Hoping I have some better luck since I really really like the versatility of this monitor.

Thank you so much! I currently already have a curved ultrawide monitor and love it but wanted a second one to further spread out all the number of tabs needed to look at for work lol. Really appreciate you including the link to the hub as well!
