Got this last month or 2 for $450. I would hold on until Prime day to see if this price drops anymore

I waited too long to get in on a new one from that last deal but did end up grabbing a warehouse version (used very good, repackaged but still had the plastic film over all the metal parts and the like) for ~$360+tax.

I think it works very well. I am not a coffee connoisseur by any stretch. But my wife appreciates decent coffee/espresso and is always rushed in the morning, so it has worked great for us. Definitely has a break-in period. Took about 20-30 cycles before things really got locked in, and now after a few weeks of usage it's very solid.

I've been told that with superautos it's good to avoid oily beans, we generally use stumptown and it definitely tastes better with this machine over the Cuisinart grind and brew unit we used before.

Amazon has used ones in "acceptable" condition for $242. May be worth trying to order since it can be returned within 30 days.

Buy at your own risk. The first I ordered leaked all over my counter top. Leak was from inside the machine. Returned it & ordered another one. I opened the brew group inside & it had mold. Gave up with the Philips & ordered the De'Longhi EVO from Target for $500 with ice coffee option. Best thing I did.

The Philips range is designed to rinse its internals with water with each brew cycle, to prevent blockages. It's not a leak

I am refering to the water leaking from inside running through the back emptying out the water container in 3 mins.

Anyway - Amazon has a 20% off for it today & tomorrow. You can get it now below $200. Add it to your cart and check it out and the final price reflects the 20% off.

Also happy cleaning it regularly otherwise mold will build up. You have to daily remove the tray with the leftover pucks and clean the brew unit once a week, air dry it for a day and add grease to it before replacing it back. Get some Qtips as coffee grounds are stuck all over the brewing unit in the crevices. A very bad design IMO.

That's not bad of a price at all for $200. Ordered.
I think all of these auto machines need some type of cleaning. The more you clean and maintain the longer they last.
But I can't justify getting the De'Longhi for more that double the cost

You might want to buy a few of them & keep the one in best condition.

Bought one and it's brand new. Has never been actually used. All the stickers were still on it. YMMV

Same here—looks unused but without original box. We have a DeLonghi Eletta at home but will set this up at work.
