This is a great deal for the 68 custom twin. A used one in excellent condition will generally be 1100-1200. I don't price track tube amps these days, but I can't recall such major discounts on the higher end models.

The 57 Custom Deluxe (hand wired) are still an incredible amp. All the boutique copies out there costing way more trying to improve on Leo's original that's more than 70 yrs old. If anyone is at the point they want something in this vein, this is a great deal. They keep sounding better and better as the years roll one and keep getting played

Whoever ends up with any of these advertised amp, congrats!

I have an 1975 Silverface Twin Reverb. The thing is a beast. It weighs more than most folks want to lug around even with casters. At around 100 watts of power it's also way too loud for most situations. I no longer play mine. People always seem to be trying to sell these for around $900.00 on Craigslist or Marketplace, no takers around here.

That being said, Fender does a few reissues that are supposed to be half way decent. The Deluxe and the Princeton Reverb come to mind. I do also have a Silverface Princeton Reverb that is a gem and is not going anywhere.

Tempted to pick this up and sell my '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb, but I've had nothing but issues with that amp and am kind of scared to buy another Fender 😭
