I bought this a few weeks ago on clearance for around $225. I have not put it through its paces as far as durability and power but with the stock blade it does track well through cuts the included 8AH battery and fast charger is a great value at this price. The left side blade as a right handed person is far superior to right side blade.

I own the older version of this saw (along with over a dozen others). The saw is somewhat useful but underwhelming to me. The power to cut through 2x4s is there but the endurance of the machine is just not there for anything less than the 6AH battery.

I have the older X4 with 3.0 Ah and it never bogged down. I changed the blade to a Diablo tho. In for 1 coz I'm a lefty (no more dusty t-shirts 😆)

Not the same saw. This is a rear handle, left blade w/ 5,800 RPM vs standard handle, right blade 5,400 RPM in the $99 deal. The left blade is a big selling point here. Makes easier sight of the cut line for right- handed users. Plus the rear handle offers better battery placement for weight distribution. This is a much better tool.

Looks like $175 near me as well. Going to pick it up here shortly. Thanks OP. I have an old one that isn't brushless but the 8aH battery makes this worth the price alone.

Ah okay thanks. I guess nothing near me since everything is at 349. I previously purchased a Ridgid miter online at clearance price so I was wondering if it just wasn't on clearance in my area. Saved me a trip.
