Neomycin (Neosporin) causes a contact dermatitis similar to what Poison Oak/ivy in some people. The rash is an itchy rash with blisters and weeping lesions. Most hospitals and clinics don't use Neomycin.

Overall rating of 4.8 / 5 stars.

Compare to:
Walmart - $5.98
Target - $6.29
Kroger - $7.99
Walgreens - $9.49

I think this deal price of $2.75 is super slick. Note: if you've used a 25% off first aid coupon recently, you may not see a coupon now.

Back in college I had a bad reaction treating a cut with Neosporin. So bad I had to go see a dermatologist. She recommended I stick with Polysporin and it cleared right up so I have used it ever since. The "dermatologist recommended" marketing was true in my case.

Neosporin is not safe for eyes (for example treating pink eye) due to zinc content. Polysporin seems to be safe for short term eye use. Can anyone with some real knowledge confirm this?
