It says up to 1500+ local dimming zones and 2400 nits peak brightness.
Yeah up to for the whole series but doesn't specific how much for each size. I biggest size in the QM7 line is 2400 bits and 1500 dim zones but what's the 65 specifically lol
This or the 48 lg b4? This is bigger than I'd like but focused solely on needing 120 fps, low input lag, and great picture.
A bigger size gives a bigger impact vs color accuracy in my opinion. I own a 77in and 55in c1 and 2 50in vizio m series for my boys. So if I was in your shoes I would get the biggest I could afford. FYI last years tcl tv had vrr issues and made that feature useless. So if that's important stick with the oled. Input lag was great

No rtings page for this TV. I want to compare it to the Hisense U7N which appears to be in the same price with the sale range right now
It's in the lab. Testing hasn't yet started. Doubt it will be ready by the time the sales are over. I returned my 75 U8N and rolled the dice on the 85" QM751G instead. In my mind it looks like a slightly refined 2023 QM8 (QM850G). Brighter, similar dimming zones claimed. TCL tends to claim specs far under what they end up measuring at from the recent history, or it's usually more but not ALWAYS.
But, just from a business and manufacturing standpoint it seems like they've gotten a solid yield on their tech and since this is just an iteration release year for TCL just gives me a solid feeling this TV will punch above its weight.
Just purchased one online before the price goes back up. Didn't really need it but that's a great deal. I bought a 75in qm850g open box 2wks ago and couldn't be happier, got it for $839. Both from Best Buy
