This bottle is great, the lid and the cap both come off for easy cleaning. My favorite part is screwing the cap back on, it feels like it's floating before sealing and it's super satisfying. Maybe i'm just weird 😅
Yeti makes the best lids out of all the major brands. The chug cap is great for water and other hydration drinks (i.e. Liquid IV). Not too much pours out at once like the wide mouth bottles, and it still keeps cubed ice inside your bottle (crushed ice will get through however if that's your jam).
For hot drinks, look at the Yeti Hot Shot line. They are truly leakproof and allow me to throw a 12 oz rambler in a backpack or bag with no worries about my bottle spilling the contents all over. And the open/close mechanism is so simple yet so effective.
Not a Yeti, but one last recommendation if you like the straw caps and already have a wide-mouth Hydroflask is the Hydroflask Flex Straw Cap. This is way better than the Tiktok fad Stanley's because it's actual spill proof when the straw is clicked shut, had a nice carry handle which I just attach a caribiner to, and keeps your water nice and cold. Only downside is that theres a chance the wide-mouth Hydroflask bottles won't fit in a lot of car cupholders but who care when you can click the straw shut and throw it onto the passenger/back seat.

I personally think takeya bottles are way better. They have a better nozzle, a lid that's easier to get on and off, and they're more comfortable to hold. They're significantly cheaper too which is probably why Costco has carried them instead for years now.

I have had this for 2 years and for the most part stopped using my other two Hydro flask bottles. The lid and mouth piece are unmatched. Still a lot of money for a water bottle even at a discount but worth it. I just bought one. Thanks.

Chug cap for life and I'm not even joking. Satisfying as hell.

You can get an insert for your cupholder that holds large insulated bottles. A little bulky looking, but they are sturdy. Tons on Amazon.
