Bought this on clearance at Walmart for $5 bucks a while back. I liked it at the time and it felt nice on the fingers. I have since upgraded to another keyboard and had no issues. Also this brand is related to turtle beach. My only complaint is I didn't like there software so I ran a different one called signalRGB.

It's not so much that they're related but that they were bought out by Turtle Beach and effectively killed.

These keyboards are good, only problem is their caps are painted and wear off. They're fairly quiet, the tactile have good feedback and they just feel good to type on. Also easy to clean. These were designed prior to turtle beaches influence.

Envious you got these for $5. At the time I got mine they were 150+ and exclusive to best buy.

I bought 2 tactile ones. I have a Vulcan 122, its just the white version. Still using it 4+ years later.

It's one of the most comfortable keyboards I've used personally.

Roccat branding is going away. It's now going to be under the turtle beach name.

Also Dr. Disrespect is now outed in the gaming community ...

I could never get the software to work with my mouse and keyboard. Worked with support to no avail. I do IT work, so definitely not a beginner. It's one of the more frustrating purchases I've made.

Yeah I used signal rgb with it. It's 3rd party but works great and it apparently even let me control things like my ram and motherboard rgb.

Anyone know if there is software for linux to work with it?

If signalRGB works with it then it probably also works on openRGB.

I bought this KB from Woot maybe 5 months ago and rather like it. The exposed, or 'above the deck' keys is a cool look with the RGB - I like that crumbs don't get trapped in the board's body. I was using a Razer and liked the feel and heft of that, but hated it's volume controls and wanted something with a knob. I thought I ordered the tactile version but was sent the liner instead. Woot compensated me some for that mistake and I kept it and am typing on it now. That purchase included a 17+" square mouse pad and mouse as well. I use the pad, but haven't touched the mouse.
Been wanting to get a tactile version b/c at times I'll bump the wrong key and without that resistance I hit more keys than intended. So I ordered the tactile version.

Love some signal RGB after trying for weeks to get iCue to play nice with the CPU cooler, case fans, keyboard, and mouse took like 3 minutes to get it running correctly with it

I've owned corsairs that were $150 plus multiple(at least 3), razer $100 plus(2) and something else . This one is on par and you can actually clean inbetween the switches. I prefer tactile, it could use a little more resistance but for this price it's a no brainer.

I used this keyboard for about 2 years and loved it. Was a lot more sensitive to keypress than the membrane I used before. Eventually one of the keys started freaking out and would type "aa" instead of "a" on a single keypress so I had to replace it. For this price may be worth buying to put on the shelf.

I have the flagship ROCCAT Kone XP Air mouse. The hardware is awesome. The software is the worst I've come across. It appears Turtle Beach doesn't care about this mouse anymore. Probably same for keyboard

I had the Roccat Pyro and returned it because of how loud it was. Is the vulcan similar?
