Waiting for this combo to be <$1000. Then I may bite.

That's pretty cool. I already have some Delta batteries, but really can't think of a use for this since I am not a camper.

Also none of the images show the vent hoses.

I believe I saw a similar portable air conditioner without the battery priced at approximately $599 or $699 after applying a coupon discount on eBay recently. Do you think the version with the battery is worth the extra cost?

Completely depends upon your use case. Will you need to power the air conditioner without AC power anywhere? Read up on any of them to decide if it's for you. Usually the wattage requirements for even the small AC units will either quickly deplete most portable power stations or they won't cool the space.

This is a heat pump. So it can cool as well as heat. I've been looking at this but can't justified the cost since I will only be using it once or twice a year - 5 days or so.

You can order one without the battery from Amazon for less than $800 after taxes. For camping, I would use my solar generator and charge the generator with solar.

Price: $999.00
Clip coupon:$200 coupon
Discount Code: 0724EFPDHOBO: - $69

Is the Hisense dual house a heat pump type? It does both heat / cold but did not say if it's heat pump or resistor type of heat element.
