Agree with hogger above ☝ For "fix crap around the house" you'll need a variety of hand tools, not a mechanics ratchet/socket set which are intended for automotive work & repair. Here's the Amazon link to that for ya.

80-90% of these pieces will never see light of day take up too much storage space. buy a decent ratchet then get a small socket set metric would be my go to. anything else id buy as needed.

This is also one of the "Gunmetal" chrome sets, which have a higher tooth count on the ratchets and IMO are slightly better quality than the regular chrome sets. Price is decent for the set but the case wastes a lot of space which makes it a little large for the amount of items inside.

HFT 1/4 composite ratchet is my go to have 3/8 as well. For the price when they have 20-30% off with lifetime replace you cant beat that! Only negative is head seems bulky especially the 3/8 but it hasnt been an issue. In hand this ratchet probably one of the best ergo. If your looking for a low profile ratchet this isnt it.

I bought the U.S. made Craftsman set at Lowe's last year. It is a really nicely made set. I wish they'd continue to manufacture here since the quality really suffered when they sent it overseas.
